Chimney Lining Systems

Liner systems protect your chimney, improve draft, and help your fireplace or appliance vent safely. If your flue is damaged, oversized, or causing condensation, a properly sized liner can be the difference between a reliable system and costly deterioration.

Stop deterioration, improve performance, and keep your family safer.

Masonry chimneys—old or new, straight or offset, residential or commercial—can benefit from a quality liner system. Chim-Pro Flex is designed to be simple, versatile, and effective without compromising durability.

A properly installed liner can improve venting for fireplaces, wood stoves, furnaces, and hot water tank flues, while helping protect masonry from corrosive flue gases and moisture.

Why homeowners install liners
  • Improves draft and appliance efficiency
  • Reduces condensation that breaks down masonry
  • Helps contain heat and combustion byproducts
  • Protects surrounding combustibles and structural materials

Strength + flexibility (for challenging chimneys)

Chim-Pro Flex systems are built to handle expansion and contraction during use and offer flexibility for offsets. A strong seam helps maintain a tight, protective path for flue gases.

Systems & options

Insulation options (blanket wrap or poured insulation) can help keep the flue warmer, reduce condensation, and improve venting performance—especially for exterior chimneys.

Why is a chimney liner necessary?

Many heating appliances produce flue gases with moisture that can condense inside oversized or cold masonry chimneys. That condensate can become acidic and contribute to chimney deterioration over time, potentially creating safety hazards and expensive repairs.

Installing a lightweight, properly sized metal liner helps create more efficient venting and reduces condensation. Insulating the liner is often recommended to further enhance performance—especially for exterior chimneys.
